Hi! My name is Caroline Vance and I am 13 years old. I just finished 7th grade at La Colina Junior High, and I had an amazing year. This will be my 9th year playing soccer, as I have been playing since I was 5. I like playing outside back, middle-mid and outside-mid. For the last three years I have played for the Santa Barbara Soccer Club. I am very excited playing on Santa Barbara United for the Norway Cup. Some of my other hobbies beside soccer include volleyball, running, reading, going to the beach, and hanging out with my friends. My favorite subjects in school are science and math. My favorite place to visit is Hawaii. I have two cats whose names are Mittens and Mr. Whiskers, who are four years old. I have an older brother named John who is 16 years old. My parents' names are Mary and Rob, and they are major inspirations in my life.

I am really excited for the Norway Cup!! I have never been to Europe, and am so happy I was given this opportunity to play in the beautiful country of Norway. I am sure it will be an experience I will never forget. I can't wait for our trip to begin because everyone on the team is very talented and super nice. Until then, “farvel!” (Goodbye!)
